Nelson Brigrht, fresh out of Stanford and a staff member of Bell Telephone Laboratories in Holmdale, N. J., will take Jane Klein as his bride this month. Jane, a Brandeis grad, is a personnel assistant at St. Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick, N. J. Another upcoming summer wedding is that of Barbara Pratt, Mary Hitchcock '71, and Barry Griffith, now at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Tom Keady is back home in Nashua, N. H. He is with the securities firm of Harris, Upham, & Co. in Manchester. Prior to his present position, he participated in that firm's management training program.
Chee Chow is at the Univ. of Rochester's Graduate School of Management. Jason Knapp is in the Eastern Caroline Islands of Micronesia as a Peace Corps representative. Steve Dalphin and JohnFrondorf are serving their country: Steve is in the Air Force in San Angelo, Texas, and John with the Navy in Vallejo. Calif. Steve Larson is still with General Mills and . has been promoted to assistant manager. Montana Grain operations.
The grapevine says C. T. Robinson will return to Tuck in September. Also ScottHanson has been unleashed from the U. S. Army to wreak havoc on someone. SamCrawford is still after his M.B.A. at Univ. of Chicago and keeps alive by selling group insurance for Crawford & Co.
The Class of 1969 Thunderball Award goes to Mike Stratton. He's landed another one of those super sybaritic sabbaticals. While on leave from Outward Bound, Strats is roughing it on a 300 ft. Norwegian square-rigger, home of an American School: the "Oceanics." Mike teaches English. Spanish, Social Studies, and Physical Education. Meanwhile, his school has visited Norway, Germany, Great Britain, the Mediterranean, Portugal, the Canary Islands, the Azores, and West Africa. Among the Strat's legendary exploits is the construction of a mud-brick school for Senegalese tribesmen. He'll be back home to settle down at the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in July.
As you all know by now, Alumni Fund is grinding into high gear. The Class of 1969 has been leading the Green Derby as of early April. Let's hope we stay there! Justifications and rationalizations for alumni giving are many. Our memories of the College are equally myriad. But, to each of us, there was a special four years spent in Hanover. Remember those moments and give to the Dartmouth of your choice.
