"By the time this gets to Phoenix" we're sure all plans for those attending our 35th will have been completed. For the "Ayes" we'll see you in a few days. For the "Nayes" we will miss you—but wait! If you are close enough to the area try coming for the day or at least long enough to say hello. Ours is a fellowship of 35 years and no formalities are ever required or requested.

One who had intended to come based on his enthusiastic participation in our 1969 fall reunion was Bob Cone and wife Lil. We regret to say Bob died of a heart attack in March. Particulars appear in the latter section of this or a subsequent magazine. He will be sorely missed.

Among those from whom we have had direct news, Hart Beardsley says "My present plans are to come to reunion but I am not sure I can arrange to bring other members of the family. Last year we persuaded Mary and Fran Fenn also Billand Patty Rotch to visit us in this beautiful 'west coast' country. Both occasions permitted an excuse to travel around more than we do alone. We enjoy keeping the lights burning and the mills running in Northwestern Newfoundland." As you know, Hart is with Bowater Power Company Ltd. Connie Schuek comes through on a card from Fallbrook, Calif., saying "Just returned from a Mexican vacation. After 23 years of teaching at State University College in Buffalo we decided to pull up stakes. Temporarily I'm retired though I may return to teaching on a parttime basis. We bought four acres here and planted 400 young avocado trees and now building a house. Had dinner with ArtFalk and have talked with Stu Naramore on the phone. Coming east to Buffalo in May and plan to be in Hanover for the 35th." Connie's son, John, appeared in the movie M.A.S.H. which we saw hoping to pin-point the young man—to no avail. We'll have to find out from the old man I guess. Jack Devlin writes with apologies for Charley Collis' not showing up for fall reunion leaving Jack with extra tickets for the Princeton revenge game (and did they disappear fast!). Jack will be with us and hopefully with female counter-parts senior and junior.

Our recent mention of Tel Frazier sparked another letter from Florida. He had plans there to bring visiting ArnoldShapiro to the monthly Dartmouth meeting but Arnold had to leave for Boston. Tel hopes to be in Hanover and if so says will bring a few apples to toss at the clock in the Nugget. (Sec. note: No change—New Nugget—new management—no apples—bring oranges.)

We are on record as a reluctant co-educationalite but we have occasions to praise members of the gentle sex as penpals on behalf of their husbands. JulieRush, for one, usually answers for Dick. Recently we got the following note from Doris Van Nostrand, "After 18 years in Sarasota Jack and I feel like natives and we love it. His business is growing rapidly (manufacturers of printers ink and distributor of graphic art supplies). Our younger son now works with him giving us more time to travel on the waterways aboard our cruiser." Their older son works in Dallas for a textile firm and deluges Doris with gorgeous pieces of polyester fabrics that keep her glued to her sewing machine.

Bob Mulliken writes from Plymouth, Mass. He has been fourteen years in sales with Davies Rush Hoyt Pharmaceuticals, a division of the Kendall Company. Lois continues teaching at the local regional high school. Bob's civic responsibilities abound—Kingston conservation commission, civil defense director, local draft board, organist (didn't say where), and a Mason with the Plymouth chapter. He has a niece on the Baker Library staff whom they regularly visit. This keeps him up on Dartmouth doings including football games. Their home of nineteen years is 200 feet from Kingston Bay and ideal in every way.

Bill Coe checks in from Westfield, N. J. Says he seems to have cast off the after-effects of his mild coronary a few years back although angina regulates and holds him back—though not much. He is still VP Operations of Personal Products Company, a division of Johnson & Johnson, plus a few outside activities like Chamber of Commerce. He and Fern love their place on Lake George and golf at the Ticonderoga Country Club which was originally started by that Hinman enterprise, the International Paper Company. They see Bill andBetty Dixon often and Sherry and AlBryant on their annual vacations from Brazil. They "might" make reunion but a European trip looms as competition at the moment.

Bill Falion sends along a page from the special section of the New York Times, an ad by the New York Concrete Construction Institute showing pictures of some of their work. There's the National Airlines Terminal at Kennedy airport, and there's a magnificient residence in reinforced concrete built for Mr. and Mrs. BertramGeller in Lawrence, N. Y.

At recent academic occasions Dartmouth was represented by Oliver Butterworth at the inauguration of Sister Mary Consolata O'Connor as president of St. Joseph's College, West Hartford, and Jim Gray at the inauguration of Charles Leonard Hayes as president of Albany, Ga., state College. Among five faculty members of International College to receive research and study grants we find Bob Bohlke, associate sociology professor.

Paul Marx wrote a long letter to Charley Blaisdell indicating he hoped to make one day of reunion and inviting any classmates making the trek to drop in and see him in Alstead, N. H. Look to the Mint Bag for further information, too much for this medium.

Just one final plug. We have all had copious literature concerning that "extra 3.5% for the 35th reunion alumni fund" to aid in the continuing support of our College. For any unable to make reunion you'll be richer by over 100 bucks. How about considering your increase on the basis of that saving and send it along in spirit as long as you can't make it in person.

We'll be back in July with the reunion report but again your secretary salutes you all for another year of "more news than we could handle." You are really a great bunch of guys!
