I bet the logo at the head of this column takes many of you by surprise. Yep . . . our 20th Reunion is just a few months away, and if that doesn't make you feel old, I don't know what will! However, in an effort to make the transition from young adulthood to middle age as smooth as possible, we are fortunate in having the arrangements for the 20th in the hands of John Gillespie. John is with the New York advertising firm of Needham & Grohman, Inc. whose stationery carries the comforting message that they have been "serving distinguished clients since 1931." At any rate John advises that we will be hearing more about the forthcoming festivities in the September issue of the Class Newsletter and that there will be a postcard included that he would like all of us to fill out and return so that he can get a jump on just what is going to be required to get us to and past this milestone.

This is also the year that we select a new slate of class officers and members of the Executive Committee. If there are any questions or information you may wish concerning this please feel free to contact Tom Kelsey or myself as soon as possible.

Starting off the new season in this column is always a hodge-podge. Stuff trickles in in the course of the year, some without names and most without dates, so that it is hard to keep any kind of chronology. So, if some of the following is old hat, or maybe even hasn't happened yet, please excuse it.

A dateless message reports that DonaldMcQuaig and Daniel Vock are now located in London, the former as vice president, ESSO Europe, Inc., and the latter as counsel, Mobil Europe, Inc. Don moved there from New York, and Dan from Tokyo. Another note reports that last lanuary Gerrit Zwart became an associate of the law firm of Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott. Six months before that a card from John P. Dabney told of his having been appointed acting director. Psychiatric Day Treatment Center, Central County Mental Health Services, San Mateo, Calif. Dab had also served as Board Member of the San Mateo Suicide Prevention Center and the National Association of Social Workers. A great enthusiast in the field of rock collection, Dab spends as

much free time as possible camping and collecting mineral specimens and occupies a seat on the board of the Gem and Mineral Society of San Mateo.

Dana Low, varsity track man, is running again. That is, as new associate partner, he helps run Tippets - Abbett - Mc - Carthy-Stratton, an engineering, architectural and consulting firm, also referred to as TAMS. Dana has been an associate of the company since 1965 and heads its department of transportation planning and economics. He has had numerous articles published in professional journals and also chairs the Committee on Highway Planning and Economics of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Bud Kingsley, wife Ginny and their three children have moved from Massachu-setts to 87 Wiltshire Road, Williamsville, N. Y. Was this trip necessary? Yes, because this summer Bud was appointed manager of the Buffalo agency of New England Mutual Life. He became a CLU in 1961, joined the company in Cleveland in 1965, went to the Boston home office three years later, and two years ago was elected second Vice president.

From Caracas, Venezuela comes a note from Andre Guillano describing how he took a brief vacation with wife Nina and their three children in Vero Beach, Fla., last October. Andy is a sales representative for several U. S. tool and machine companies in the South American market. On the flip-side of the globe, but again undated, Howland S. Russell, now a It. colonel USAF, writes that he had completed a Southeast Asia tour flying reconnaisance in the RF-4. He and second wife Jan were married about a year ago and he now is posted to a four year tour in the Pentagon. Another returning classmate is Guy Torin who this August exchanges Belgium for Baltimore where he will take part in the Johns Hopkins Ob-Gyn program at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Guy tells of three children, a daughter of 13, and two sons 10 and 6.

Doing his bit for pollution control is Phillips C. Cooke who is manufacturing and selling sewage treatment plants under franchise agreement in Marblehead, Mass. Robert R. McCartney, writes that Uncle Sam goofed again by promoting him to It. colonel, USAF, and is doubly happy to be back up north at McGuire Air Force Base, N. J., where he can make plans to attend some football games with a station wagon that is all tailgate.

Another year-old missive reports that Kenneth Zwiener was promoted to assistant" treasurer of Standard Oil of Indiana. This news came from Robert V. Woodberry who entertained the Zwieners (Ken and Suzie) as weekend guests after not having seen them for ten years. They were also joined by Robert and Barbara Boyd. While all this was going on, over in Webster, N. Y. George A. Haskins wrote that he was branch manager for Eastman Savings and Loan Association and also chairman of the local Community Chest Drive for the fall of '71.

Stanley E. Rosenberg, M.D., sends word that Dr. Samuel Trock has joined himself and Dr. Jay Chandler on the staff of the Princeton Hospital, Princeton, N. J. Sam's specialty is anesthesiology, while Stan's is surgery. Stan's wife Irene has enrolled as a freshman at Rutgers Law School and commutes daily to Newark, leaving Stan to tend the house in between operations. And to round out the picture is a note from Richard E. Armstrong announcing his new job as vice president and controller of Ditz-Crane, the home-building division of Foremost-McKesson, Inc. This makes Dick a commuter to San Francisco from Palo Alto, and I sure hope he can make use of the new mass transportation lines I've been reading so much about lately. Sure doesn't look like the Penn Central!

All this news, however disjointed, just about cleans out the warehouse, and that means that if you want to see something more current about yourselves, you'd better feed me some info — fast!
