Two recent graduates of the College are among three staff appointments in the areas of student and alumni affairs announced during the summer.

Albert T. T. Cook Jr. '62 has been named an associate in the office of College Secretary J. Michael McGean '49. Gary T. Brooks '70 is a new Assistant Dean of the College. In addition, Miss Elizabeth Carr, a 1970 graduate of Regis College, who has been an admissions representative and financial aid coordinator at Aquinas Junior College, Newton, Mass., has been named assistant to the Director of Financial Aid.

Mr. Cook's basic responsibility is to coordinate the undergraduate job placement program with alumni clubs. Working with both the Secretary's office and the office of Dartmouth Plan Coordinator Harland W. Hoisington '4B, he will be seeking job opportunities for students who will have a more flexible possible employment schedule as a result of year-round operation.

A native of Cleveland, Mr. Cook attended Union Theological Seminary for the year following graduation and later earned a master's degree in casework and social policy and administration at the University of Chicago. He has been a social worker for the last several years, his latest position being that of planning associate with the Community Welfare Planning Association in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Brooks did a six-month tour of duty with the Army after he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College. He was a legislative aide to Congressman Dante B. Fascell of Florida, his native state, before entering Yale Law School last fall. He plans to return to Yale to complete his course sometime in the future.

President of his class and of the Glee Club as an undergraduate, Mr. Brooks won the Churchill Memorial Prize as a freshman and was elected to Casque and Gauntlet.
