It's a bit obfuscating to write a column in October that is scheduled for publication in December. And it is particularly so inasmuch as the previous column was written up a couple months earlier, due to intervening vacations and what-not.

Due to the said vacations, suitable material is somewhat scarce, so we will do the best we can with the material that is available.

Of the records of consecutive Dartmouth football games few can compare with G. K. Richardson of our Class who, from the day he entered Dartmouth in 1911, has seen the Green play more than 400 times! That is a standard that few can challenge. Incidentally, that information was received from Eben Clough who reported that Charlie Comiskey was among those present.

Eben further reports that Chan andDot Foster are about the same and often invite him to lunch on Saturdays when they go to see Margie Clough. He also reports that Margie is about the same and is so pleased when Eben comes to see her—which is almost daily. Referring to the Princeton game, Eben sat next to Roy Porter and Fletch Low—with Kike Richardson right back of them along with Abe Newmark 'l4. Incidentally, Pearl Richardson is now in Florida, recuperating nicely from her throat operation. Apparently all is now well with the Richardsons.

Doc Noyes sent birthday greetings to the writer (It's immaterial what birthday that was) and reports that he bowls twice a week and does very well. Doc reports that Priscilla has made a remarkable recovery, following her accident of last year, can drive her car and do almost anything she did previously. Her doctors think she is fantastic.

My "peripatetic twin" George Ingalls, after moving into a new apartment in Boulder, Colo., finds himself getting into busy times. He reports driving to Chicago for occasional visits and even flew to New Hampshire for a delightful visit with some cousins, Dave and Peggy Hitchcock whom he found in "top fettle." After some visits to places, including Connecticut and New Jersey where he will visit the MarvFredericks at their new Rossmore address, he will fly back home to vote for (he didn't say for whom)! He raves about the fall colors in the mountains.

A nice birthday card from Helen andBob Griffin offers an excuse to visit (all too briefly) with "you and Tilda Ruth" and to remember all the good times we had together in the past. He mentions all the locations, including Hanover, and underlines the latter spot (which gave this recipient quite a thrill).

And, as a wind-up, a pleasant card from the Alumni Magazine to "enjoy a pleasant fall with it's glorious colors, and please remember your December Notes are due November 2nd."

Here's to a happy Holiday Season for all!
