The world-at-large continues to recognize '45s, as multiple classmates are appointed to new positions of responsibility. Dick Southwick has been elected vice president and security officer of the Newton-Waltham (Mass.) Bank and Trust Co. Peer Pedersen has been elected to the board of trustees of the Rye Country Day School. Peer, a partner in the New York City law firm of Keenan, Pedersen and Cantwell, lives in Rye, N. Y., and is also a trustee of the Bronx Savings Bank. Tom Matron has been elected president of Dartmouth Club of Mexico. Eliot Mover, having performed yeoman service for the Class a? class agent and chairman, will now give of his talents to Graham Junior College (Boston) as a trustee.

John Mac Donald's recent note finds another '45 in the State of Maine: "We moved up here from Marblehead to take a job as division manager at Forster Mfg. Co. about six months ago. Since then have been enjoying 'country life' in Winthrop. Kids are on Augusta Y swim team (ages 7, 9 and 11) and love skiing. We expect to return to Marblehead for summer and live on a boat with Dad making the long drive."

This is the yearly plea for all slow dues payers to get up their $lO. The Class needs your help to defray the cost of the Alumni Magazine and to support the Book Fund which is used to help needy undergraduates pay for unusual book purchases.
