The response to the reply cards for the new class directory has been newsworthy albeit hardly overwhelming. Present count is 50%. If we reach above 55% we will be lucky as they do continue to dribble in, so if this reminder lights a fuse send it in anyway, we can always use the information.

First off the cards is a sad note. George Snyder died on November 1, 1971, details can be found in the obituary section.

We are slowly becoming accustomed to the growing number of retiring classmates, any address change to Florida becomes immediately suspect. By card count we have 13, some new, some old. Cort Heyniger, producer of those popular little sail boats called Sailfish, is the newest, although he did not say what became of the Alcort Company. Others: Hank Lenning, Art Covey, Tom Dickeson, Wes Lacour, Hep Randolph, Earle Cleaves, John Maloon, Connie Schuck, Ev White, Bob Terwilliger, Joe Tardiff, and John Doukas. We're sure there are others although some have taken other jobs in retirement.

Mystery dynamo and world traveler Art Guyer recently surfaced in Orleans on Cape Cod. He is connected with the Ready-Mixed Concrete Company. John Doukas is with the Probation Department, Merrimack County Courthouse, Concord, N. H. Gus Farwell's real estate connection is the Trudel Associates in Stamford, Connecticut. Walt Graf's Motor Rate Bureau has moved to Burlington, Mass., from Boston so we don't run into him in town any more. Jim Sage is with Merlo Advertising in Del Ray, Calif. Ced Jaggard with Milwaukee School of Engineering. Stan Ferry says he's with Professional Marketer, Inc., Bettendorf, lowa. Paul Marx is a real estate appraiser for the New Hampshire State Tax Commission as well as a broker on his own. Kim Hall is the Hall Marine Corporation, Shoreham, Long Island. Ken Stearns says his nose is still flattened By the stone (?) but he longs for more skiing. Ed Kelley is now with the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations (Mobile). And where the cards called for nicknames Lem Bowen inserts "with a name like Lem?"

Art covey's new address is 501B Heritage Village, Southbury, Conn. Wife Edythe died in May '69 and he retired to the above but not completely as he is back as consulting counsel to the New York State Senate Insurance Committee. He lives alone and enjoys visiting his children and grandchildren in upstate New York, Georgia, and Maine. He complains that none have settled down in the Caribbean.

Doug Cochran writes from Daytona Beach (not retired even though it sounds so) from the headquarters of two motor hotel chains, Red Carpet Inns of America and Master Hosts Inns, where he is marketing manager. He has done some Dartmouth interviewing and attended some alumni luncheons which he describes as excellent for the morale as 1937 is considered a comparative youngster in that area.

Frank Pickell writes "Joined the New York Bible Society International last December as Director of Development, HQ, New York City. Moved to Colt's Neck, N. J. from Virginia Beach where I had spent a year as vice president and Marketing Director for Christian Broadcasting Network. From 1952 to 1970 I was vice president and account executive for Bennett Advertising including five years operating my own five man agency. Have specialized in Christian Radio and TV, films, and Crusade promotions."

We were especially pleased to finally have word from Bill Parenteau who asks forgiveness for remaining so long silent. We knew he was mighty busy with the F.A.A. but here's his thumbnail—F.A.A. since 1942, chief controller LaGuardia Tower, 1948—1960 chief controller Kennedy Tower to present time. Says Bill, "a bachelor for about 15 years I broke the sound barrier about three years ago by marrying Jill Drury, a widow with four boys, one married and in Air Force, balance 17, 15, and 11, all attending St. Mary's here in Manhasset." Bill adds he has been out sick since last September but expected to be back on the job in April.
