For those of you who turn to this column looking for brief notes on friends and other classmates, the letters from Ed Scovner and Tom Knott published in recent editions may have been disconcerting. On balance, the response to those thoughtful discussions has been positive, and your secretary will continue to use the Alumni Magazine column as a vehicle for such material whenever the occasion presents itself.

The "Wah! Who? Whisper" is enjoying a renaissance under Ted Bremble's attentions and this becomes the natural channel for communication of a nature that is of primary interest to our class. The Magazine, on the other hand, can be used for more general communication and that which would interest other graduates of the College as well.

Notwithstanding these generalizations, this column would still include notes on those moving up the ladder and those changing their patterns of family life if that information were received at the above address. Particularly if you missed such notes about others thus far this year, I hope yOU will promptly put something in the mail about your own activities and your family- And, if you are moved to taking the time to develop your thoughts and sharing them on a topic of general interest, your letter will be most welcome.
