Clem Page was kind to send along the publication announcements from Simon and Schuster for February highlighting Lew Joel's new book, Beauty. Lew, a retired New York fashion model, has written a novel about the roller coaster ride of face and body recognition in the world of fashion. Lew notes that "Judith Krantz and Jackie Collins look like school marms in comparison." He should also be congratulated on marrying Lauren Anderson on September 26, 1986. His new address is 510 Alps Road, Branford, CT 06405.

Jack Noon, who is spending the winter building a log home for a friend in New Hampshire, supplied me with a prodigious number of green cards. It seems classmates are reaching a stage where they want to renew old class ties.

Richard Wattrich writes that the Henderson Wattrich group of real estate and financial services recently moved to a new office on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. They have expanded to 25 associates and added a SEC registered investment broker to their services. He and Sharon returned to Hanover for the New Hampshire football weekend and were "struck by the beauty of the campus but saddened by the sad condition of some fraternities."

Peter Diamond has moved from Maui to Honolulu. He made an impressive housecall over the Christmas holidays to the Northwest Frontier Province of Pakistan. He spent three weeks in a Mujahdin fort on the Afgham border, setting up a MASH unit and training Afghan medics. "Just back from Christmas, still trying to digest the experience one quarter of the country dead or in exile in Pakistan after seven years of fighting." For recreation, Peter plays polo, recently winning the Hawaiian Tournament; he's now resting after rolling a horse, breaking his hand and two ribs.

Frank Couper writes from his new digs in Glen Burnie, Md., that he located the long lost Tony Dambrava at the Dartmouth-Navy football game. Tony was apparently much more alive and healthy than the football team by the end of the afternoon. Tony is now living in Crofton, Md., and working for the VA. Frank continues lawyering and had a case, Solerio vs. U.S., in the Supreme Court in December.

Bill Adler left government one year ago, taking a management job with the Pacific Telesis Group in Washington. He enjoys visiting the home office in San Francisco and receiving better pay for fewer hours. Bill's wife, Marsha, has a staff position on the Senate Appropriations Committee dealing with Education, Labor and Human Services. They confirm Frank Couper's and Dave Ziegler's attendance at the Dartmouth-Navy game.

Wayne Wadhams is in the news: the Dictionary of Music Production and Engineering Technology is being released by Shirmer/MacMillan, with a second book in this series, A Musician's Guide to the Recording Studio, under way. In November, he was producing the musical score for an AlPacino feature, as yet unreleased.

More classmates for whom we have no current addresses: Alexander Cameron,Joe Carbonari, Porter Coggeshall, and Tom Couser. If anyone has any leads, please send them along.

Ted Baehr '69 met with the controversial ZuluChief Buthelezi during a recent trip to SouthAfrica. Baehr is a television producer with GoodNews Communications.
