The Class of 1915 has had Duze Lounsberry as Head Agent for the past twelve years, and it is no accident that during this period 1915 has won five Green Derby races. Last Spring 1915 again took first place in Group I, raised over $20,000 with a participation percentage of 136%. Duze runs each campaign with a smooth and deft touch which provides a friendly and personal relationship with each classmate. Thanks to his diligent efforts 1915 has the largest number of Memorial Gifts from widows and relatives of almost any class, and Duze has been known to point out that sometimes these ladies give even more generously than did their late husbands. The Fund Committee is proud to acclaim the 1915 fellowship and its tremendously fine Head Agent, Duze Lounsberry, by presenting the Fred A. Howland Trophy for the 1971 Campaign to him as the outstanding Head Agent for an alumni class over forty years out of Dartmouth.
