The Dartmouth Club of Tucson's December 22 meeting was the standout of the year with the introduction by Del Worthington '26 of one of Dartmouth's all-time football greats, Nate Parker '26. For those whose Dartmouth history recall needs a nudge, Nate Parker was captain of the 1925-26 championship undefeated football team. Eleven men on the squad were Phi Beta Kappa, as was Nate, who also was C&G. He went on to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and from his response to Del's introduction, it was quite evident this sturdy son of Dartmouth will always be a winner. Among his comments: "Support your college!" "Coeducation is good for Dartmouth," "Frank Harris of the Steelers will be Rookie of the Year."

Bill Trier '44 and son Bill Trier '71 formed a proud pair with younger Bill entertaining the Old Pueblo grouping with a few assuring words about the Hanover picture, plus some reflections of second year at Yale Law School.

An up-dated description of the Big Green with emphasis on sports was heard by theSpringfield Club at its annual Smoker in December. Covering various topics were (I to r)Christine Nicholson '74, coeducation and girls sports; Assistant Coach Dub Fesperman, review of this year's football and projection of the 1973 season; and Jim Kant '76, theDartmouth scene and football. Their host was Club President Art Little 53 (r).
