MARCH 1973 BLISS KIRBY THORNE D'38

S. Marsh Tenney M'44, who is also a member of the Class of '44 and who has served the Medical School in a number of teaching and administrative capacities over the years, is now acting dean. Early last month he took over the reins from Dean Chapman who has gone to his post in New York as vice president of the Commonwealth Fund. Dr. Chapman continues to maintain his home in Thetford and will return to Hanover in June for the first awarding of M.D. degrees since the World Ward I era. Meanwhile, Marsh Tenney, chairman of the Department of Physiology, heads the Medical School. At the time of this writing it is not known when the new Dean will be appointed.

We're very happy to assist Class Secretary Ernie Weymuller Jr. M'64, who is anxious, to receive information he can include in a class newsletter.

He has worded his appeal as follows:

"To the Class of 1964, "It is now 8½ years since we left DMS, 6½ years since graduating from Med School and M years since my last attempt at a newsletter. I think most of us have either ended our training or are about to do so. It seemed to me this would be an interesting time to compare notes amongst our august group. I would sincerely like to hear from each of you. but assuming that I will not, please include any information you have about other classmates.

"I am looking forward to your reply. Please respond very soon.

Ernie Weymuller 719 Old Marlboro Road Concord, Massachusetts 01742" That's all the news now. We'd like to hear from everyone.
