The following retirement (or non-retirement) bulletins are relayed without space-consuming quotes, but feel free to insert them if you like:

Dent Carman (Brooklyn). The chief problem of retirement is trying to snatch a moment's rest. May have to return to office to get a chance to read the newspaper. Very trying situation. Cliff Williams After traveling throughout the State as a food broker from 1953-1967, I became tired of bucking traffic in the summer and blizzards in the winter so took the job of executive director of the Oswego County United Fund. Having turned 65 a month ago, I retired and am adjusting to pursuing various hobbies such as fishing, match pistol shooting, collecting military arms, and reading. There will also be some voluntary work for the Red Cross. Came out of World War II as a captain after two years in the ETO and remained in the Air Force Reserve until January 1968 when I retired as a lieutenant colonel. It was a long and satisfying experience.
