The Ojai Western Reunion will be held on the weekend of July 11-13 this year. Because it is unlikely that this event will be scheduled in our 1976 reunion year, Bob Marr urges that those who haven't, come out on those dates to see what they've been talking about for the past four years. Bob is the man to write or call, Box 96, Green Valley, Ariz., 602-625-8339. There may still be a chance to get a reservation at the Woodstock Inn for the informal reunion, October 10-12. Last year 163 people enjoyed one or more of the weekend events.

Bob Whittlesey, situate in South Yarmouth, seems to meet the test of the compleat retiree. "Margaret and I are surviving the perils of retirement quite nicely. We're both avid gardeners and landscapers and keep busy cultivating and improving our little Eden on Bass River - also do a bit of boating, fishing, clamming, and crabbing in season. I derive considerable pleasure and a slight profit doing some freelance work for my old employer, Little Brown. And I'm getting a great deal of satisfaction helping out in the Reading Lab at the local High School. Nice to keep in touch with the young and to be reminded that there is more to life than medicare and social security. Margaret has seasonal employment in a garden shop, a great occupation for a gal who has the greenest thumb east of the Connecticut, and she's active in a couple of ecology outfits too. When the Glee Club visited the Cape we were fortunate to house a couple of the gals and got a first hand report on how coeducation is working out. Personally, I'm all for it."

Clark Denney from Southern Pines, N.C. "This is a pleasant place to live. Plenty of golf, good doctors and hospital, social life if you want it." Clark was in the Air Force, Judge Advocate's Department, from 1953 to 1968, and is now a retired colonel in the reserve. The Illinois State Academy of Science has given HaroldKaplan its highest award, Honorary Member of the Society. Harold is Professor of Physiology at Southern Illinois University. LouGoldschmidt has retired as owner-manager Regal Realty Co. and is now living in Wethersfield, Conn.

Gwen and Dick Bowlen dropped in for a visit recently. Having become an expert in the field, Dick is chairman of the Association of Identification Manufacturers who are concerned with marking most anything you can think of to speed their identification and control.

The Alumni Fund Committee has honored the memory of Art Browning by awarding him posthumously the Fred A. Howland trophy for being the outstanding Head Class Agent among those more than forty years out of college. LeeSturman carries on, and needs your special support this year to meet 1930's Fund goal.

We have learned of the death of William H.Keller on April 29 and our sympathy is extended to Betty and their daughters.

1930 plus forty six = '76. The dates, June 14-17.
