John G. Demas '55, chairman of the nominating committee of the Dartmouth Alumni Council, has announced that two vacancies occur in Trustee membership due to the untimely death of Harrison F. Dunning '30 (see p. 90) and the term expiration of F. William Andres '29, Chairman of the Board.
Nominations for candidates to fill the vacancies can be made by alumni of the College through the Alumni Council. Suggestions should be submitted in writing to any of the following members of the Council's nominating committee:

Raymond '30, 56 Jennys Lane, Barrington, R.I. 02806; Bertram R. MacMannis '39, 11 Overbrook Lane, Darien, Conn. 06820; Andrew P. Creelman '64, R.R., Box 251-10, Montague, Mass. 01351; or J. Michael McGean '49, Secretary of the College, 206 Crosby Hall, Hanover, N.H.
After study of all candidates, the nominating committee will submit its recommendations to the Alumni Council at the December 1974 meeting. After action, these nominations will be publicized in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. Final action of the Council will occur in June, when the nominations are transmitted to the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees of the College is a working board, with four full-scale meetings in Hanover of the entire body each year, plus committee assignments. A deep interest and concern for higher education combined with wisdom, dedication, and objectivity, are qualities sought for membership.
Alumni are asked to submit suggestions promptly, to allow the committee ample time to review carefully the qualifications of those whose names are submitted.
