Murray Baldwin writes, "Have been at my Arizona home for a few days. Sure hot and dry and so am I. Expect Ed and Clare Felt soon and they will be welcome. I'll try to show them some of the back country. Will look for Stoddards later on. If any of you are this way, east of Apache Junction, please look me up and we will do the back country which is the starting part of Arizona. Am in the Apache Junction phone book. Wish I could have been in Hanover on 9/28 but just too far even for an Ancient Mariner."
Cort Horr: "Suggest you recommend that all 18ers read book edited by Syl Morey titled Respect for Life, Waldorf Press c/o Adelphi University, Garden City, N.Y. 11530. At least I enjoyed it and am amazed that American Indians had such fine instruction while children."
Paul Miner: "Last month I had the pleasure of having lunch in Clearwater with Prowie Prowattain and his old roommate, Dwight Edson in Crosby, who was called to St. Petersburg from Houston by the sudden death of his sister ... Have just returned from a short tour of the Central Rockies, Yellowstone, Jackson, and Lake. When I signed for the tour I learned we were scheduled for two nights in Denver and it was my plan to look up John Cunningham re. But alas it was just a little too late. Johnnie was one of my favorite classmates. We have lost too many of these good men. Wish I could be in Hanover this glorious season." I am sure we all sympathize with Dwight in this recent loss in the Edson family.
Sewall Strout: "We enjoyed having Pat andGeorge Stoddard with us for a short visit this summer. For several years we have been the proud owners of a painting by him of a Maine coastal scene which we like very much and which receives many favorable comments from our friends."
Al Gottschaldt: "Please record my third entry in the class great-grandfather's sweepstakes. And do give a plug to the upcoming (mid March) 1918 Pow Wow at Fort Pierce, Fla. (Holiday Inn at Sun Shine Parkway Interchange). Sobering thought, but it may be the last get-together for some of us; so lets make it a grand 'n glorious one."

Dick White: "Had a week in the North Country with our daughter and husband from Colorado Springs (both Oberlin) looking at fall color ... En route spent a night in Hanover and enjoyed cocktails at the Barrs, then dinner at the Inn with the Barrs and Stoddards and then repaired to George and Pat's crypt for more conversation and stuff which warms the heart and stomach. Am busy with galley proof of my book now and it is good to see the printed words after six years of research and writing."
