As your itinerant secretary, may I again call your attention to the above seasonal change of address from Vermont to Florida for the period from December 1 to June 1, in the hope that I may hear from you soon and from time to time.

Bob Fox noted in his recent newsletter, in reporting on the class meeting on Saturday morning prior to the Princeton game, that the consensus of those present favored better geographical representation of class members within the executive committee membership and involving the executive committee in class communications and activities to a greater extent.

In this latter connection, it was voted that a resources committee be appointed by the president from the executive committee membership, to serve under the chairmanship of Wes Beattie, and to assist in a supplementary way in the ongoing development program of the College.

In the absence of the class treasurer, SamCunningham, the president reported a balance on hand in the class treasury of $3,037 as of July 31, 1974.

However, the election of additional members of the executive committee will have to await the reactivation of the 1973 nominating committee, under the chairmanship of Bill Lang, which has the constitutional responsibility for submitting nominations for a new president and additions to the executive committee, for election by the executive committee.

In the meantime, let us not wait on executive committee action to improve our informal communications. It will be greatly appreciated if you will write either to Bob Fox or me, providing news of you and your family, as well as of other classmates within your area or with whom you are in touch.

Our class bequest chairman, Jud Piarson, continues to provide strong leadership in the bequest and estate planning program, as evidenced by his annual letter, dated October 15. You are urged to give careful attention to his letter and the enclosures, including the questionnaire which is to be completed and returned promptly in the prepaid return envelope.

Due to the fact that Jean and I were deeply involved in family activities, including tail-gating, the game and post-game festivities, we did not have the pleasure of seeing the '33ers attending the Harvard game, but the following is a list of those reported by various classmates as being at the game: Lew and Bea Chester; Jeff and Bea Davis; Don and Mugzy D'Arcy; Bob and Babe Fox; Sam and Carol Gass; Hal and Polly Hackett; Cliff and Sally Johnson; Mel and Ruth Katz; Whit Kimball and Whit Jr.; Nat and Mildred Leonard; Jack and Dorothy Manchester; Dumps and Harriet Mac Carty; Bob Mitchell and Janice Daniels; Nick and Dot Nichols; Jud Pierson; John and Phyllis Rockwell; John and Charline Scanlon; Hank and Helen Smith; Mannie and Chilant Sprague; Sid and Miriam Stoneman: etc. I am sorry for the omission of others who were disappointed in the outcome of the game.

We are certainly proud and happy to view Hank Smith on national television as the ranking member of the minority party, Judiciary Sub-Committee of the House of Representatives.

To each of you and yours - all best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a good year in 1974, during which we sincerely hope to hear from you.
