Well, gang, sorry about last month. Seems that the executive committee and I had a communication problem. In any event, I'm still in your employ. Because of the confusion and the fear that the December dealine has passed, this will be a short effort. Promise to make it up next month.
Steve Martindale has moved on to bigger and better things and is now executive vice president of the KIENLE-HANKINS COMPANY, a large distributor of electrical motors and apparatus in Toledo. Chris and the youngsters (Tim, Vickie, and Steve Jr.) are pleased to return to the scene of the wedding bash of some 11 years ago. Wonder if the good Lake Erie aroma will put some growth on Steve's noggin.
All set to straighten out the problems in Washington is Paul Tsongas, who now represents the 5th Massachusetts district in the House of Representatives. The Boston papers endorsed Paul, praising him as a young, bright and articulate candidate. Apparently the voters agreed, as Paul upended a Republican incumbant who had been named the "Outstanding Freshman of the 93rd Congress."
Quite a gathering was held in Boston in September. Ten '62 families got together, complete with 21 kids. Jack and Margie Fitzgibbon hosted the event attended by Dick and JeanHannah, John and Linda Clark, Pam and TagDagney, Gordy and Arlene Williamson, Ralphand Millie Ellis, Charlie and Mary Vic Giersch,Grant and Jane Phipps, and Ann Evans. Tennis and volleyball were the athletic challenges and the consensus was that the wives are in better shape. No argument from this quarter.
Sorry to shut off so soon Will bring you an in-depth report next month. Hope the holidays find all of you in good spirits.
