Fifteeners - I urge you, do not despair - '15 does have a class secretary and Marvin Frederick's name will soon head this column.

According to statistics received from the Alumni Fund office as of 3/1/74 there are 111 men of the Class living and accounted for and 18 names have been removed from the roster for various reasons such as lost, not interested, mail return, etc Since that date, 1915 has lost five more member of the Class, James Burbank (March 1), Les Dunn (March 19), Gilbert Campbell (March 23), Phil Murdock (April 6), Lowry Lytle (March 14). Expressions of sympathy from the Class have been sent to the families.

On May 12 Hal Davison turned the corner and celebrated his 81st birthday with his family and friends plus two big cakes and a dinner party. By Sunday he was ready for a rest so watched church services via TV. He is looking forward to some real warm weather when he hopes to feel more ambitious and may try a little streaking.

Jack Johnson (Ashland, Ohio) after three months still feels the loss of Bertha, but fortunatley he is looking forward to the graduation of his oldest granddaughter from the University of Colorado in Denver. She will receive a full degree, specializing in nursing and Jack will join the clan for the big event. Son Dave whom we met at our 50th is now with the Defense Departnent in Columbus and undergraduate grandsons Warren at Dartmouth and Eric at Vermont are doing O.K. Jack says he will see us in Hanover in '75, our 60th. In a recent letter BagsWanamaker was reminiscent of the three years he roomed in the Theta Delt house with JackBowler, Ed Curtis, Dave Morey '13, and Joe Donahue, and also of his 41 years of service with the U.S. Rubber Co. 1916-1957. Their plants were scattered throughout the northern hemisphere and. starting in Boston, his responsibilities led Grace and him to most of them for various periods. Bags says that he will be 82 on August 3 and the records show that he and Grace will celebrate on August 5 their 58th wedding anniversary which gives us the opportunity to wish them continued happiness and health on both counts. It is unnecessary to predict that their three children Bob, Chalis, and Ruth plus eight grandchildren will make sure that proper recognition is given these anniversaries.

There has been much speculation as to the whereabouts of Charlie and Isabel Comiskey these past few months. Usually it could be assumed that they were in the South following the professional golf tournaments but unfortunately that was not the answer. Charlie has been laid up with a so-called herniated disc which was bad enough to ground him. His comments - "am feeling fine now, but have to learn to walk without a WALKER." He and Isabel send their best to all '15ers. Our very dependable correspondent from West Springfield, Paul Vining, was joined by Leo Burt who came up from Hartford for Gib Campbell's service. They spent a long lunch (2½ hours) renewing much of what had transpired in their lives since their high school and college days. Leo is having eve trouble and is concerned about Ottilie's progressive illness requiring round-the-clock me nursing. He did visit Olive King in her nursing home and found her condition serious. Paul and Leo were impressed with the eulogy Rev. Bascom gave at Gib's service which was built around and followed by the reading from Chapter 3, Ecclesiastics.

A note from Tilda Ruth Murdock indicates that the shock of Phil's sudden departure is still with her but her but the knowledge that there could have been no return from the massive coronary which Phil suffered is an aid in her adjusting process. On June 28 she is flying to Chicago to join her sister. Her new address will be: Mrs. T. R. Murdock. % Mrs. C.L. Henny, 1337 West Fargo Avenue, Apt 2-G, Chicago, Ill. 60606.

Until October.
