That every surviving member of the Dartmouth class of 1967 could have broken his writing hand in the same month is just too much of a coincidence. Therefore, I assume that only some of you have broken your writing hands. The rest of you just need a little practice.
I did get a cryptic note from John Rhead in February at least I think it was John. About all I can tell you for sure is that his memory is better than mine, at least about certain events in our freshman year, and that his handwriting hasn't improved. Nor has his taste in stationery.
Dr. Albert C. Hine III, a geologist at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, was a member of a team which has discovered major deposits of phosphates on the continental shelf off the coast of North Carolina. According to the February 17, 1981 edition of the New York Times, the discovery may ease American dependence on foreign sources of the mineral, an essential element in domestic agriculture.
Attorneys, law students, jailhouse lawyers, and legal scholars will be interested to hear that West Publishing Company has published BillReynolds' Judicial Process in a Nutshell. Bill is a professor at the University of Maryland School of Law.
