Once again Dick Ranger '44 put together a Christmas luncheon for area alumni, undergraduates, and prospective students that totaled 106 attendees and exceeded all previous years. A total of 37 students from area high schools came together to meet alumni, see the slide show and hear awe-inspiring talks by four undergraduates, Anne Bagamery '78, FlorenceDelbudge '78, Kevin Curley '77, and ReginaldWilliams '76. A special effort was made this year to increase student attendance and it was a resounding success.

Jake Crouthamel '60 came to town with Freshman Coach Wayne Donner on January 10 and again alumni efforts brought out over 55 football prospects and their coaches. Later that evening, Jake gave a well-balanced film of highlights to alumni, including among the score of participants Hal Plotnik '46, Jim Trembleau, Steve Balogh '51, and Dave Lodge '60.
