Our May 15 meeting was held in Geneva. Although we did not reach a unanimous consensus regarding the optimum percentage of co-eds at Dartmouth, I can safely say that the majority of the group felt that a 50/50 ratio would be the best solution since the girls have been accepted. However, a vociferous minority view was expressed that the proportion of women undergraduates should remain as is - the reasoning being that a higher number would require extensive new facilities, etc.
Our dinner gathering of the clan was, however, unanimous in the reelection of Alden Fiertz '52 as president for another one-year term, John French '71, from Zurich, as vice president from the German-speaking part of the country and as liaison officer, and Ronald T.Murphy '55 as secretary. The evening ended on a happy note and with plans for another get-together in early autumn.
