Of course it is now more then two months since Christmas, yet this is the first chance the secretary has had to report that he received cards from both surviving classmates, and from four of the surviving widows. Also there were many cards from sons and daughters in our class family.
There is nothing unusual about this, at least for this particular class, and doubtless for others, yet it seems to emphasize the fact that a college career can mark an individual so permanently that as long as life and immediate family last, there is a pleasant sense of "belonging."
