Hear Ye, '73ers -
News is not easy to come by these days. But when it does, you can be assured you'll see it first here. Top on the list this month is the recent call for class unity and assistance via dues. James Brown needs our help... and I hope each of you will give careful consideration to contributing monetarily anything you can (five bucks will do, but ten will keep the class boat afloat). Think about it. A great little gift can mean so much.
Randy Lunn has recently been promoted to a sales representative position for the inks, adhesives, and coatings group of Union Camp Corp. in Des Plaines, Ill. Randy's impressive background speaks for itself in that he holds two graduate degrees: a B.E. from Thayer and a M.B.A. from Tuck. Warmest congratulations from the Class.
In June of 1976, Jack Terrill was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Jack's wife, Georganne Daher (Mt. Holyoke '73), was graduated from Temple University's School of Law about the same time. Both spent the summer months of 1976 cramming for the Pennsylvania bar exam and, as the wheel of fortune would have it, both passed with flying colors. Jack is now an associate with the Philadelphia law firm of Duane, Morris, and Heckscher, while Georgy is a law clerk for Judge Harry A. Takiff. May their dual partnership in the law keep them out of trouble. (Incidentally, Jack's also the treasurer of the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia.)
Lee Rosengard, another graduate of Pennsylvania Law, is with the firm of Stradley, Ronon, Stevens, and Young, also of Philadelphia. Married in September of 1976 to Andrea R. Kramer (Wellesley '73), Lee spends some of his free time as vice president of the area alumni club.
Another recent marriage includes JohnJenkins to Sharon Perryman (Wellesley '72) in September of 1976. It is reported that over a dozen Dartmouth grads were in attendance. (I'd love to hear from at least one of them.) John and Sharon are now living in Washington, D.C.
It seems hard to believe. Here I am writing these choice words in Phoenix, Ariz, (temperatire 15°), having just come off a two-week trip to the Midwest (temperature —5°) and Monterey, Calif, (temperature 65°), while the week ahead means a stop-over in Salt Lake City and, of course, Alta - if the white stuff hangs in there. Thanks to an all-but-too-brief stay in L.A. with Brad Gilman '74, my sanity has been somewhat restored. The purpose of this brief monologue is twofold: first, beware of the Captain's call one of these nights; second, please keep the letters coming in so that I have something to read "on the road." The cool 60° nights tend to clutter my mind, you know.
That's all for the news that's fit to print. Do keep in touch.
