Bridgewater, Mass He and wife Vicki are getting into the farming spirit. Dave's a comptroller for a local general contracting firm after having got his M.B.A. from Babson in 1975. No children to report (yet), just an Irish setter named Molly.
Charlie Kaufmann's received a recent promotion as marketing manager for southern New Jersey with Lawrence R. McCoy & Co., Inc., where he will join an experienced team of forestproducts supervisors. Chris Barlow has been named manager of methods and procedures for the Howard Johnson Company. In his assignment, Chris will head a project team that has been working on the development and implementation of an extensive informations system of raw materials and finished goods. So eat your heart out all you Mac-Attack advocates!
Louis Savenelli, a 34-year-old post-graduate in '73 ranks, has assumed his duties as the new associate principal of Randolph Union High School. In Woodstock, where he chaired the English department, Louis initiated a number of programs and curricula, and was voted Outstanding Young Educator of 1975 by the local Jaycees. He's presently a director of Woodstock's branch of ABC for underprivileged youth.
Engagement announcements for the month include a long, notable list: Bill DeLuca to Amy Chodos (May 28 in Schenectady). Bill is in his final year at Albany Medical, where he plans to enter surgical residency. Bill Mayer (remember those early-morning French classes, 8:00 a.m.-ers?) to Leslie Plant (June wedding). Bill received a master's degree in polysci from the Univ. of Dares Salaam in Tanzania in 1974, and he expects to receive a J.D. in May from Virginia Law, where he is a member of the law review. Frank Jorgensen to Kathy Moreau (June 11 wedding). Frank is a computer programmer and systems analyst at National Community Services in Lowell, Mass.
Attorney Andrew Caffrey Jr. has been appointed a special assistant district attorney by Essex County District Attorney Burke. Andy will work in the misdemeanor and felony appeal sessions. He received his law degree from Villanova last May, and comes from a long lineage of private defenders.
Jeff Nintzel has tried his very best to tip the class singles' scales - but to no avail ... as yet. In December he was married to Alice Libermann at her home in Manhattan. Jeff is presently a photographer on the staff of the art department in Hanover.
A belated marriage announcement includes that of John Jenkins to Sharon Perryman (Wellesley '72) on August 28. In attendance were '73s: Bill Graham, Kevin Dunn, Steve Morelli, Jack Terrill, Steve Leighton, and BrianDunn. The honeymoon - British Virgin Isles. Sharon is working with Ma Bell in Washington. D.C., while John works as a health care consultant with Arthur Young and Co. in - you guessed it - the same city.
Well, it's become quite clear that this month's notices have persented little sooth for those of us still in bachelorhood ranks. Fear not, loyal followers, the Cap'n will make up for it, somehow.
