"Dartmouth Night in New York" is the billing; the invitations suggest that "if you can't get to Hanover for Carnival, we'll bring Hanover to you."

The New York dinner dance, the biggest, dressiest Big Green event New York City has seen since the 1958 affair honoring President Ernest Martin Hopkins on his 80th birthday, is scheduled for the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on February 23.

Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller '30, chairman of the Hopkins dinner, will be an honored guest, and the speakers will include President Kemeny, President Emeritus John Sloan Dickey "'29, and former Trustee Chairman Charles J. Zimmerman '23. The Glee Club will be on hand to entertain alumni and their guests.

The festivities get under way with receptions, including three sponsored by the associated schools, at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00, and dancing will go on into the night.
