Here we go again, folks. The October issue commences the fourth year of the '75 class notes, believe it or not. There aren't many changes - same author as before, same deadlines, same delays in submitting copy, same need for information. One of the most important things that hasn't changed for this year's October issue is that, once again, congratulations are in order for Head Agent RickWaddell, all his class agents, and all those '75s who contributed to the 1978 Alumni Fund. For the third year in a row the Class of '75 won its Green Derby race. Our Class came in with $11,613, representing 54.8 per cent of possible contributors. Needless to say, the College is very pleased with the results and we should all feel proud.

Now for the news, some of which is a bit old due to the summer absence of the ALUMNIMAGAZINE. Tom Brackett completed his law studies at Suffolk Law in Boston in June and, according to a summer newspaper article, was planning a September 9 wedding to Alison LaPage, a 1977 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. A wedding report would be appreciated.

Elizabeth Davis and Rev. James Alan Groves were married on June 17 in Rollins Chapel in Hanover. Rev. Groves is a pastor at the Congregational Church in West Fairlee where the couple will live. Mrs. Groves is currently a student at Dartmouth.

Rick Paul graduated recently from Boston College Law School and is now an attorney with Dickinson, Wright, McKean, Cudlip, and Moon, one of Michigan's largest corporate firms.

Kevin Kelley wrote the following a short time ago. "Attended the wedding of the now Brianand Nancy O'Sullivan at the Mount Holyoke Chapel in June. In attendance were many '7ss, to wit: Mark Ditmar, Nick Weber, Jeff Little,Bud Leese, Dave Hunt, Steve Johnson, WendyBurrell, Roger Clarkson, as well as tons of other Dartmouthites. Bud Leese just married long (long) time sweetheart Claudia Zent on July 23 down in Maryland while I was taking and passing (it's true) the Massachusetts state licensing exam for insurance. I left teaching and landed a job with New England Life here in Boston. They even gave me a desk with a window view and chair to go with it. I'm located on Federal Street in the Ellison Agency and presently commute from Beverly Farms to Boston on the Broken and Mangled (formerly Boston and Maine). Reality has finally revealed to me that now I must work to earn my money. They never told us that at Dartmouth."

Richard Varadian has been named a foreign exchange officer of the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He serves in the bond department. Rich began his career in 1975 as an administrative assistant and came to his present position in June.

Tony Garufi and Diane Benedetto were married last summer in Massachusetts. Following a trip to Bermuda, Tony and Diane were making plans for a home in Marlboro. Tony is currently employed in the administrative office of the Beth Israel Hospital in Brookline.

One last wedding report from the summer is that Dave "Froggy" Fisette and Karyn Morris were married on June 10 in North Springfield, Vt. Karyn is a 1976 graduate of the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hsopital School of Nursing. Dave graduated this year from B.U. School of Law and is now associated with Brand and Isaacson of Lewiston, Maine.

That's the news from the summer that I have received. Keep those cards and letters coming and thanks to all who helped make the Alumni Fund drive so successful. See ya next month.
