I would like to begin this column with an apology. Several months ago there was a misprint of John Floberg's name when I was writing about his new endeavors as an entrepreneur in the plumbing business in LaCrosse, Wise. Sorry about that, John. Frankly, I'm sure that there have been other mistakes in other columns, as well. If you notice a misspelled name or some other misprint , please let me know. It's difficult enough for us all to keep up with our classmates, but if their respective names are misspelled in the class column that just makes things all the more difficult. Usually these mistakes are my fault, but sometimes they are the result of almost illegible notes that I receive or misinformation that the alumni office inadvertently passes on to me.
Well, enough of that. I do have news that Doug Ostrander and his wife Gail are living in Rhode Island, where Doug is working as a jewelry designer. On August 3, 1978, Gail gave birth to their first son, Thomas Rogers Ostrander.

Finally, Dave Welcker sends word that all goes well with him and his wife Vicki. They are expecting their second child in the summer of 1979. Their first, Jason, was born in June 1978 and Dave notes that he "appears to have granite in (at least) his muscles." Dave is presently a controller for A. P. Whitaker & Sons Inc., general contractors and engineers, in West Bridgewater, Mass.
That's it for this month. If you have a spare moment, please pass on some news about yourself or other '73s.
