Bill and Maureen Crispin are both attorneys in the Washington, D.C., area. At last word, Bill was working in litigation with a Washington law firm and Maureen was clerking for Justice Rehnquist. They were planning a trip to the William and Mary game. Bob and Barbara Whitney have a son and reside in Buffalo, N.Y., where Dr. Bob is an internist at Erie County Medical Center. Dick and Judy Miller have five children (this must be a class record!) including one set of twins. Can anybody beat it? Dick gets occasional relief from diaperchanging by acting as director of research and associate professor of obstetrics, toxicology, gynecology, and pharmacy at the University of Rochester. Bruce Senn is a Syracuse University M.B.A. and assistant director of systems management at Burroughs Corporation, Paoli, Penn.
Don Miller's article on the martial arts was featured in the Atlantic Monthly and his book, Inside Language, is slated for fall publication by Macmillan. Son Jason follows in his dad's footsteps. He is busy writing a junior James Bond novel.
The Boston Globe had a feature on WayneWadhams this past June entitled "Wayne Wadhams Takes on the Record Industry." Wayne said, "the music industry has become a monolithic corporate structure, out of tune with the times and no longer reliable as a judge of talent." The key phrase to describe this phenomenon is perhaps "fifty stories above Madison Avenue is a long way from the dance floor." In order to address this situation, Wayne formed an independent production company (Brainwaves) and an independent label (Boston International) which he hopes will give him more leverage with the big companies and will become a magnet for local acts. Best wishes to Wayne in his. new venture.
