October 27: the Cornell game. Write it down; note it well. A post-reunion gathering is planned in the Leverone Field House following the game. It will be a good opportunity to get together, have a few beers, and catch up with old friends. Also, it will be a chance for yours truly to collect enough news for a column or two.

Clips of several weddings have been received.

Ken Cuddeback married Denise Quinones of New City, N.Y., on May 13. Denise is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio. Ken is manager of the Woolco automotive department in Hadley, Mass.

The last wedding in this column is that of John Sheldon and Elizabeth Solbert. Elizabeth is a Wheelock College graduate and teaches learning-disabled children in Lebanon, N.H. John is a photographer with the Hathorn/Olson studio in Hanover.

He will enter a pediatrics residency in Chicago.

More bits of news gleaned at reunion: BillPaquette is a graduate student at the Yale School of Architecture and, when last heard from, was seeking summer employment in Boston. Rich Winkler has returned to N.Y.C. after trips to many foreign lands (Iran, India, Burma, Hong Kong). Rich continues his work in films for Seven Hills Studios, doing marketing, sound, writing, etc. Eric Nadworny is Boston City labor relations counsel with the Kevin White administration.

Bruce Miller "traded the world of 30-second television commercials for the land of 30-minute situation comedies." Formerly with Proctor and Gamble's advertising department, Bruce is now working for MTM Enterprises. Bruce also claims that he is attempting to monopolize the entertainment industry, along with Ty Nutt and Peter Parnell. Remember, you heard it here first!

Among the class secretary's files are some class dues notices, many with news that has not appeared in this column to date. Wayne Whitmore is an ophthamology resident at New York Hospital in N.Y.C. Fred Stevens is a sailor in the oil tanker fleet of Exxon Company, U.S.A.; he claims it to be the next best thing to attending Camp Dartmouth. Steve Chase writes that he is body surfing in the everlastingly warm waters of San Diego, while employed as a staff research associate at the University of California at San Diego's Department of Surgery. Bob Fletcher is attending Boston University Law School and rooming with Andy Wexler, who is at B.U. Medical School. Bob's singular remark was "Hovey!"

If you've been hearing news from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C., give credit to John Graf. He is a computer systems analyst in the office that produces the monthly employment and earnings data.

John "The Amazing Oly" Huisman recently finished his M.B.A. at Tuck and, when last heard from, was looking for someone to bankroll his company. Scott Mason has been with Young & Rubicam advertising agency in the Big Apple since completing his M.B.A. at Harvard in 1978. Jody Hill Simpson has completed the first year of a master's degree in conducting (vocal) at the New England Conservatory of Music. Glenn Roundy, who is also in the military, is now a captain at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island, S.C.

Congratulations to Mike Miller and LauraCuetara on the birth of Matthew Paul Miller on May 25.

Hope to see you in Hanover.
