Weatherwise, it has not been a bad winter in the Boston area, but elsewhere in the country, it has been otherwise. And from the extended list of recent deaths it might appear that the rugged weather is more healthful. In this or following issues will be obituaries for Enders Voorhees, Maurice Harvey, Ray Trott, and Gordon Piatt. Voorhees was one of our most substantial donors; Harvey and Trott were bankers.

The publication Arizona Highways recently ran an article on Gail Gardner which somebody was kind enough to send along. Gail still lives in the house in Prescott, Ariz., where he was born on Christmas Day in 1892. The family consists of two children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Prescott is not on the usual western route for tourists, so callers from the class have not been seen there. Neither has Gail come east to reunions, and thereby we have missed some very colorful stories of the cattle country. He says his mother lived to be a hundred, so he has some way to go yet. We hope to see him in Hanover before that day comes.
