Rockefeller Gift

Dartmouth has received a pledge of 53.75 million in memory of Nelson A. Rockefeller '30 from members of the Rockefeller family. The gift, to be augmented by 52.5 million from friends of the late governor, will establish the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for the Social Sciences, including a new building adjacent to Silsby Hall, two endowed chairs in the social sciences, and supporting funds.

The Rockefeller gift brings the Cam- paign for Dartmouth total to SI 10 million.
