David Bond recently moved to Vancouver to take the position of federal economic development coordinator, which means he is head federal civil servant in British Columbia. He reports directly to the cabinet in Ottawa. He is pleased with being out west again and is planning to be at the 25th reunion.
Alan Shaver was recently appointed general counsel for General Foods.
The Commonwealth Club, a public affairs forum in California, has elected Bruce H. Hasenkamp to the board of governors. Bruce is currently vice chairman of the program committee and has been an active member since 1968. He is also the club treasurer.
Joseph D. Mandel has moved to the San Francisco area, where he has taken the position of vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Natomas Company, an international energy, transportation, and real estate company.
A special recognition award was conferred on Thomas J. Reilly II by the Dartmouth Club Officers Association and the Alumni Association for his service as treasurer of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Eastern Massachusetts, a post he has held since 1979.
