Well, gang, here we are again, about to start off on another year. We'll try to keep you all informed on the happenings of '51ers scattered all over the place, but in the meantime, a postcard or letter from each and everyone of you would be appreciated. Material has come in during the summer, but anything more will be received gladly!

Let's start off with a few weddings! DickEllis and the former Barbara Ann Randall were married in Newton, Mass., last June. It was a military wedding through and through, with the couple leaving the church under an arch of crossed swords. Mrs. Ellis studied at the University of New Hampshire, and after graduating from Dartmouth, Dick hit the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis. A dandy trip to Europe was in store for Mr. and Mrs. AdolphBerger, the former Helene Rieback, after their wedding in the Terrace Room of the Plaza, in New York City. Mrs. Berger attended Cornell, studied at Tanglewood, Lenox, Mass., and did summer stock at Tufts College Arena Theatre. She is now a senior at Barnard College.

You can find the Dudley Pages living in Columbus where Dudley is finishing his senior year at Ohio State University Medical School. Dudley married Judith Lee Bosanko last June, and the Pages had a six-week wedding trip which took them to the western states and Canada. Judy is now on the staff of University Hospitals in Columbus. Justin Smith and Eugenie Vey were married in July in Newark, N. J. The bride is a graduate of Keuka Col- lege, Keuka Park, N. Y., and was a member of the nursing staff at Mountainside Hospital. Justin is associated with Seymour Smith & Son, Inc., Oakville, Conn. After completing a three-year tour of active duty as a lieutenant with the Navy, Roy Ireland took the fatal step with Miss Anne Loeb in Upper Darby, Pa. Mrs. Ireland attended Centenary Junior College, Hackettstown, N. J., and graduated from the Moore Institute of Art, Science and Industry in Philadelphia.

Before informing you of some of the '51 engagements, here are a few miscellaneous notes. Dr. Donald Clark has completed his internship at the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, and has been appointed to a position on the resident staff of the same hospital ... I bet there are many of us who envy Don. Dr. Peter Dallman and Dr. GilesHamlin have also completed internship at Mary Hitchcock, and they both "plan" to enter the Navy. We see that John Pace Jr. was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine at Yale, while the following received their M.D. degrees at Tufts University this June: AlbertAnderson, Hubert Aronson (cum laude), SteveBiddle, Walter Michener, Bob Tomfohrde,David White. Dave Angell, who graduated on May 25 from McGill Medical School, is the third member in his family to choose medicine as a profession. His father and grandfather are both former presidents of the Vermont Medical Society. Dave is interning at the City and County Hospital in San Francisco. A card just in from Hanover tells us that previously mentioned Mr. and Mrs. Justin Smith were visitors at the Inn over the Fourth of July. Following another long line in a medical family is Bill Jameison. Bill graduated from Albany Medical College in June, and is now on a rotating internship at Grasslands Hospital in East View. Both Bill's parents are psychiatrists. John Gallup has taken a position with the advertising and sales promotion department of the Strathmore Paper Co. of West Springfield, Mass. Along with this bit of information we found out that John and his wife Paula have two little girls, Susan, aged 3, and Paula, 17 months. Arnold Bartlett should be about ready to start his duties as principal of Sharon High School, Sharon, Mass. After graduating from Dartmouth, Arnie did graduate work at Boston University, where he received his Masters degree and is enrolled in an advanced graduate program. From 1941 to 1945 he served with the U.S. Navy, and he has served as a teacher-coach at Hillsboro, N. H., High School, teacher at Chicago Latin School for Boys and, since 1948, as headmaster of Sanborn Seminary in Kingston, N. H. Quite a record!

And always fun to receive are birth an- nouncements: - Nina and Chuck Geilich have announced the arrival of their first - a future candidate for Carnival Queen in '75 - Wendy Jo, born July 2. Wendy Jo can be reached at 299 Ettrick St., Brockton 45, Mass., in case anyone is interested. And from Hanover comes another flash from the stork - Nella and JohnBoardman are the proud parents of a girl, born June 13, to be named Anna Maria. Anna Maria, by the way, was smart enough to pick Mary Hitchcock Hospital as her point of arrival. Papa John has just gotten his degree (Master's) in Hospital Administration from the U. of Minn., and since aquiring another heir (they have a son 25 months old) has been appointed assistant administrator at the University Hospital and instructor in hospital administration in Columbus, Ohio. Now for a few engagements to wind things up for this month. Some of these have probably already been terminated, but here goes

The parents of Sarah Gardner have announced that she soon will be wed to FrankJohnson, who is with the Naval Reserve as an ensign. After Dartmouth, Frank was graduated from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University. We see that an October wedding is planned. Shirley Anne Yox and Bob Langworthy have gotten together for a purpose. Shirley is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design in New York, and has also studied at New York University. Sandra Stanley has said "yes" to Norm Berkenmeier. Norm is associated with the Welsh Co. Sandra received her degree way last May from Cedar Crest College in elementary education. Norma Ann Vlasak, an instructor at William Rainey Harper Elementary School, is the fiancee of Rev. RichardBucey, assistant pastor of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church. After Dartmouth Dick graduated from Yale Divinity School. An address on the above couple would be appreciated. The newspaper clipping left us fairly in the dark, as you can see.

By now, I'm sure, Lydia Eccles has become Mrs. John Page. However, their engagement was announced way last May. Lydia attended Smith College, and graduated last June from George Washington University. In South Orange, N. J., the engagement of Joan Rush to Bill Beasley Jr. was announced last May. Bill is doing graduate work at Ohio State University, and served in the Army in Munich, Germany. Joan studied among other places at the Shakespearean Institute at Stratford-on-Avon in England.

About all for this month, gang. Let's hear from you. - See you next month. DAVE.
