Anne Thomson, of California, is planning on going to Hanover in June to celebrate 1920's 65th reunion. Perhaps if there are prizes, she will get one for coming the greatest distance.

A note from Jim Parkes wishing everyone a Happy New Year was received early; it was written on November 27, 1984, which, incidentally, was his 79th birthday. He really is a youngster in comparison. Hope your birthday was a happy one, Jim.

Mrs. Kelvin Smith (Eleanor) took advantage of the green card enclosed with the newsletter to express her appreciation for the kind words which have been written about her beloved Kelvin.

Sylvia Sample Drury (widow of Paul Sample) has also taken advantage of the green card to let us know she enjoys news in Paul's class notes. We remember that she married again some time after Paul died, but her marriage was short due to Alan's fatal automobile accident on July 26, 1982. Sylvia's address is 4 Jones Circle, Norwich, VT 05055.

Emilie Palmer (Mrs. Alton S.) is good about letting us hear from her and what she is doing. She saw a clipping in the OrlandoSentinel about Sherman Adams's hospitalization for a heart pacemaker. She sent it along to us in case we hadn't heard.

A Christmas card for Mrs. James Robertson was returned marked "deceased." We hadn't known about it before. We remember that after Mary died, Jim married again, and for some time they managed the Centerville Country Store on the Cape. Although they were not married very long, she had been very loyal to Jim, each year remembering him with a memorial contribution. After Jim's death she moved to Rockport on Massachusetts' north shore to be nearer to her family.

A New Year's wish comes from Mary Snedecor that, although her eyes are such that she can not read or write, she does enjoy news of Spence's class and sends her love to all. She lives at 177 Highland, Memphis, TN 38111, and she would, I'm sure, be glad to hear from any of the Dartmouth family who might be in her area.

Mrs. John Allen (Katherine) of Seattle has read in some publication that President McLaughlin will be in her area in the spring, and she will probably make an effort to hear him.

Charlie Sargent doesn't feel at this time that he can make it to Hanover for the 65th in June but here's hoping time will change things and that he may be able to be with us.

Leo and Alice Ungar attended the Christmas party of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Plains, representing the class of 1920. He tells us also that they always have a summer picnic. No doubt they will attend that also.

Laura Carter is recovering well from a stroke suffered earlier this year, but she regets that she will not be able to continue as class secretary.
