Spring has sprung, the time is near, For us pea greeners to drink some beer,

Hanover beckons, so let us all cheer, To relive our youth this reunion year.

Poem by a Tart Mouth

Please excuse the quoted verse above, but it reminds me of the literary masterpieces composed during our "animal house" years on the Plain; so please make plans to attend reunion, which will be conducted as a symposium discussing whether libations cultivate lyric verse.

Now for the news: Eastman Kodak has appointed Bruce Campbell (Brighton, N.Y.) as manager of distribution, copy products division. Bruce has been with Kodak since 1967. (No picture included, can you believe that?)

Frank Herringer was elected to the post of executive vice president of Transamerica Corporation, a diversified financial service company. Frank will be responsible for all insurance-related operations.

Last fall, Donald Bross, executive director of the National Association of Counsel for Children, addressed the National Symposium on Child Molestation, sponsored by the U.S. Justice Department and the National Organization of Victim Assistance in Washington, D.C. Accompanying Don from Denver to the capital was his wife, Jodi.

Dan Dimancescu coauthored a book entitled The Innovators: Rediscovering America'sCreative Energy (Harper and Row). The book is based on years spent researching hightechnology firms as well as smokestack and service industries in the U.S., Europe, and East Asia. Through case studies, the book profiles not only companies but states and academic institutions which have contributed to innovation in industry. The main theme of the book is that education is the strategic tool in the innovation process. (I wish we had some innovative thinking to end the Indian symbol problem. Surely there is some image or artifact that is acceptable to both the Native American and other alumni. How about the Buckskins? There is nothing offensive about this, and there are "dear" all over the place now.)

That's it for this month. Bye.

"Dartmouth's in town again!" wrote Charlie Parton '63. "The Dartmouth Club of Antigua held thefirst of its randomly scheduled meetings on February 28 at the Anchorage Hotel. After a prolongeddebate on officer selection, the meeting adjourned without a conclusion." Members present were, leftto right, Sherm Clough '50, Larry Kryle '41, Gary Korenman '59, and Parton.
