Greetings again, my fellow Dartmouthia. Before I get to the accolades, gossip, baloney, and trivia, let me inject a serious note. It is class dues time. Please take two minutes to dip into the family coffers for 15 clams. Let's face it, despite all the present turmoil, criticism, etc., about the College on the Hill, we all spent the four best "animal house" years on the Plain and the 15 bucks is a small way to express our ap- preciation for what Dartmouth did for us. What other alumni could endure 24-hour road trips, nose boots, groinlettes, and D'Andrea's in Saratoga. Now for the news:

Brian Randall has been named vice pres- ident of the Belleville, Ill., office of A. G. Edwards, the largest brokerage firm based outside N.Y.C. Brian joined A. G. Edwards in 1979 after spending nine years as a broker and co-manager for Reinholdt and Gardner. Brian and his wife Emily have two children and are active in the Belleville Elks Club and Signal Hill Lutheran Church. (Do any of you guys remember the girlie show at the Elks Club on the Lebanon Road?) Brian is a faithful jogger and part owner of three thoroughbred racehorses.

Paul Hale has been named president and chief operating officer of American Heritage Publishing Company of New York City. Prior to assuming this position, Paul was an independent management consultant specializing in publishing. He started his consulting business after serving as executive vice president of Esquire Magazine Inc. American Heritage publishes American Heritage magazine and American Heritage Books and markets a line of quality merchandise through direct-mail catalogues. Paul is a director of International Schools Services and a member of the Association of M.B.A. Executives, the Dartmouth Club of New York, and the Columbia Business School Club of New York.

Ed Temple writes that he is currently employed by Scott Paper Company as a financial systems manager. In addition, he is involved in civic activities as treasurer of the Haverford, Pa., Township Adult School; his wife Barbara is executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank and is a Democratic committee member in Haverford. (You all remember the Democrats, that's the political party that made all the papers in the 1980 Presidential election.)

The mother of Ivars Bebris writes the following regarding Ivars: "My son Ivars has been afflicted for four years with the same form of sclerosis that Lou Gehrig had. He is now totally disabled." Ivars has a wife and two children. Unfortunately I have no further information, as I only received a brief note. Ivars lives at 52 Stillings Court, Rochester, N.H. 03807.

Bowie Duncan announces the birth of Eleanor Margurite Duncan on April 30, 1981. Congratulations.

William Harrington sent the following note: "Left Hanover in 1961 after unsuccessful freshman year; five short years later managed to stagger through the College with a B.A.; married, two kids Chris and Courtenay; remarried Jo Ann Porter in May 1981; enjoying docile life of backwater town insurance peddler; playing some competitive tennis and very uncompetitive golf; regards from Cambridge, Md."

That's it for this month. Remember, kids, to jot down some news about yourself on the back of your class dues form when you send in your dues. We all need the dues, and your secretary appreciates the news. Bye.
