A full delegation of class officers was in attendance at Class Officers Weekend on May 3 and 4. Our delegation, including spouses as indicated, consisted of Chince and Margaret Allen, Pete and Alma Wheatley, Stan Chittick, Ed and Betty Winsor, Rollie and Edna Taylor, Dave Dyche, and Pauline Hartshorn. Dick and Pauline Morin were also present at the class dinner and executive committee meeting where we were guests of Chinee and Margaret at their home. Stan Chittick and Pauline Hartshorn had headed south before the Aliens' party, and they missed a good meal and a jolly occasion.

Discussion at the class meeting centered on the question of the disposition of funds from the class treasury. Chinee presented a memorandum suggesting that it be applied to finance a Dickey Endowment Internship. There was some discussion as to whether something of this nature should be done presently or should wait until we know more exactly what our future cost might be for Alumni Magazine subscriptions and for funding the memorial book program. At Chinee's suggestion, no formal vote was taken, and the matter was referred to the mini-reunion in the fall for further consideration and, it is hoped, for further ideas by letter to Chinee or to the secretary before that time.

Better still, come to the mini-reunion, with headquarters at the Norwich Inn over the weekend of the Princeton game, which is on September 21. As noted in Robin's April "24Hour Notice," make your reservations directly with the Norwich Inn at Norwich, VT 05055. The opening game may not provide the most sophisticated football but is less likely to involve bad driving or threat of pneumonia. It is hoped that there will be more precise instructions forthcoming.

It was a source of real pleasure at the class secretaries meeting to have our new class directory held out as a model for other classes to follow.
