Congratulations to Allan Priaulx, who was recently appointed vice president/editorial of CNR Partners, as announced by James N. Perkins '55, chief executive officer of the joint venture formed by Citicorp, NYNEX, and RCA to conduct research and development in interactive electronic services. Allan comes to CNR from King Features Syndicate division of the Hearst Corporation, where he was vice president and general manager. He started his career at King ten years ago as executive editor and recently had responsibility for development and marketing of features and comics for the world's largest media syndicate. He was also active in the company's character licensing business and its King Features Entertainment TV and distribution subsidiary. In his new position, Allan will be responsible for researching and developing informational, entertainment, transactional and other potential electronic services for CNR. In addition, Allan is a national vice president of the United Cerebral Palsy Association. He lives in New York City with his wife, Jacqueline, and two daughters.
Indianapolis Museum of Art director Robert Yassin has been elected a member of the board of the International Council of Museums Committee (ICOM) of the American Association of Museums. Rob- ert came to the IMA as chief curator in 1973 and has been director for the past 11 years. ICOM, headquartered in Paris, is a worldwide association of museum profes- sionals. Its 8,000 members are located in 100 countries and are engaged in all as- pects of museumrrelated endeavors. The goal of ICOM is to support and improve museums and the museum professions, promote cooperation among museums, and emphasize the importance of the role museums play in their communities.
Boston Edison Company, responding to recent criticism by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission about management at its Pilgrim nuclear power plant, announced executive changes. John Stevens was named senior vice president, human relations, commercial and energy supply and corporate relations. The plant has been closed down since April.
Frank and Beth Hight have returned to Florida from the Bahamas. Frank is now affiliated with High Reach Company out of its Pompano office, selling and renting personal lifting equipment.
In early August the board of directors of The Seagram Company Ltd. announced the appointment of EdFalmkenberg as controller. The company, headquartered in Montreal, is the world's largest producer and marketer of distilled spirits and wines, with affiliates in 27 countries. Ed, who has been with Seagrams since 1968, is also vice president and controller of Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc., the company's U.S. subsidiary.
Laurence Herman was recently made a full commander in the naval reserve. His unit, which operates out of Selfridge Field in Detroit, was judged the best-trained in the country, while Laurence was the highest-graded lieutenant commander before his promotion.

Phil Bailey hopes to provide some Johannesburg Riesling, and Jay Fritz some Zinfandel for the reunion, fresh from their respective California vineyards. Jay's business has been flourishing for several years, while the '87 vintage will be Phil's first. Incidentally, Jay and Barbara recently played host to Brock and BarbaraSaxe, with sons Brock, Duff, Mathew, and Kevin, the first time the entire family had been able to get to California in sev- eral years.
