President Pytte
Provost Agnar Pytte resigned his position at the College to take the top job at Case Western Reserve University. Pytte, a theoretical physicist, joined the Dartmouth faculty in 1957. He was named associate dean of the faculty in 1975 and became provost in 1982. Pytte will take office on July 1.
