In the summer issue the Magazine reported that Phi Sigma Chi has chosen to call itself a "panarchy" in recognition of its coed membership. The actual organization is Phi Sigma Psi.

Strings attached: The internationally acclaimed Franciscan String Quartet is Dartmouth'snew quartet-in-residence. Now ranging in age from 24 to 30, the all-female ensemble tookfirst place at the Banff International String Quartet competition in 1986. The group's nameis taken from the San Francisco Conservatory, where the members met. The Franciscanreplaces the Concord String Quartet, which disbanded after a 13-year residence at theCollege.
