Reunion was a great success. There were almost 20 of us from all over the country as Cap Palmer has so generously written up in his last Skiddoo. About the only thing that I can add is that the balance sheet came out almost even.

You all probably all know this but it bears repeating. Our great class again went over the top in giving this year. It was a 65-year record and was for $161,677. From now on with our diminishing numbers, hospital bills, etc., it's going to be harder and harder to fill our desires in this direction.

A report just in from her daughter says that Adeline Height died on April 9. This is not class news but is of interest. Both the Surgeon General of the United States and the Postmaster General of the United States are Dartmouth graduates.

And another bit of Hanover news. Your secretary was present for the ground breaking for the New Hitchcock Hospital and the Medical School on September 29. The plans are fantastic and it will carry on the superior quality of medical care for which the hospital is famous. The original gift was for $7.5 million by Robert Borwell '25, who never practiced medicine. Congratulations.
