Among this month's news is word that Glenn Britt, who was named vice president, finance of Time Inc. last February, has now assumed the post of the company's chief financial officer. With Time since 1972, Glenn served as the company's treasurer, as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Home Box Office, and in various financial positions with Time and its subsidiaries, including vice president-treasurer of Manhattan Cable TV, finance director of Time-Life Books, senior vice president of finance of Time's video group, and senior vice president, finance of American Television and Communications Corporation.

Rich Jenkins recently made his theatrical debut as a member of the cast in the offBroadway musical, Oil City Symphony, at the Circle in the Square Theater in New York City. After beginning his professional career as a trumpet player with a Chicago-based jazz quintet, together with his wife, Sandra, he formed the Lynx Trio which played at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid and toured for two years as the Richard Jenkins Swing Quartet. He has done both on-camera and voice-over work in several regional and national TV commercials and performed at cabarets, hotels, and corporate events in New York.

Last February, Dr. Robert Tufts Jr. opened a practice in internal medicine and pulmonary disease at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Mass. Before entering private practice, Bob completed his internship and residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, Mass., and was awarded a twoyear fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He and his wife, their daughter, and twin sons live in Manchester, Mass.
