It is with a great deal of sadness that I report the death of Ivars Bebris. Although more will be written about Ivars in this magazine and in our class newsletter, the passing of a valued classmate and friend is a time for reflection even in a vehicle such as this which generally reports only our successes. Several years ago, Ivars contracted Lou Gehrig's disease and his condition steadily deteriorated until his death on November 21. He was a man of great courage and a movement is under way to establish an award in honor of his spirit and determination. Our class extends deepest condolences to his family.

Prior to joining Hahn Loeser & Parks, Lee practiced law with another Cleveland firm for seven years, served for eight years as a senior executive at First Union Real Estate Investments, a NYSE-listed real estate firm, and most recently was a principal for Capital Resources, an investment banking firm.
