"All wives should attend especially second wives. A Dartmouth reunion weekend will help explain your husband's behavior." These words from Merni (Mrs. Hop) Potter in reference to our 25th Reunion coming up in June. This is the biggest reunion of them all and if there's even the smallest chance that you can make it, it will be worth whatever effort it takes.
We've got a great reunion yearbook and George Fesus and I send our thanks for everyone's cooperation (well, almost everyone). The next few columns are going to be real short (so what else is new?), since the yearbook has all the good stuff and you'll be getting it in the mail well before reunion.
It was recently announced that Jim Pfau was selected president and CEO of First Medical Devices Com. He was elected to First Medic's board of directors in 1987 and for the past 18 months he headed operations at Bio-Metric Systems, Inc. where he was also a vice president and member of the board.
Recently, I had dinner with Judi and Herb McCord and Jean and Snoopy Marshall. We were in New York for a breakfast with Dartmouth President James Freedman to discuss recent, developments at the college and what impact, if any, would be felt at the Alumni Fund level. While I can't say that anything substantive came from the breakfast, James Freedman is an engaging, highly articulate individual who handled himself well. Roger Aaron hosted the breakfast at his office as he has our monthly Alumni Fund meetings.
June 15. Be there!
