Happy Holidays and let's all be happy that we're not out on the Green stomping down snow for the Carnival sculpture. Well, Brian McDonough might be out there but the rest of us can stay in next to the roaring fire and watch Big East basketball.

Oh boy, did Santa leave something nice under my tree. News of the class of '82.I finally figured out why I wasn't getting any info on you guys. You weren't doing anything. If you do do something, the College writes me and tells me about it. What a great country!

Before I get to the third party stuff, let me tell you about a personal message I received from Glenn Grube. It seems Gruber is doing the architecture thing down in Jersey in the shadow of the George Washington Bridge. He keeps in shape with Softball in the summer and soccer in the spring and fall. He claims to have lost his speed but not his skills. Did he ever have any?

Gruber also brought news of Nash Ogden's departure from New York (smart guy) and arrival in Alexandria, Va. Whether or not he's still there is another question as he plans on developing a resort hotel in the Venezuelan countryside. They were both wondering if Charles Winslow would return from modeling in Europe soon enough to reclaim his possessions from his and Nash's apartment. To quote Gruber: "typical Winslow."

To keep me further informed, Gruber mentioned that Colin McNay is "into some neat stuff with venture capital. Seems he is also tiring of the New York scene and may be headed to Boston sometime." Another smart guy. Special thanks to Glenn for his excellent letter.

Mark Nesline also dropped a note to say that he has wed the former Susan McCadden in August. The new Mrs. Nesline is a Boston College grad and obviously a Big East fan. Nes's only regret is that he and Susan missed the post-wedding pool party which local police in Lexington, Mass., considered a small riot. Among those who should have been incarcerated were Moe Fournier '81, Dave Schafer '81, Mark Zimmerman, John Pascale, T.C. Anthony, Ben Murtha, Brad Brown, HughStouppe, Rob Bell, Jon Ettinger, EarlMcMahon, Tom Peterson, Steve Peterec, and Leslie Maiocco '83. The Neslines have settled in Winchester, Mass.

Now for the not so personal yet more numerous College-supplied information. Wendy Stone has been named deputy communications director for Colorado Senator Bill Armstrong and is living in Washington, D.C. An exhibition of the paintings of James Mott was shown at the Pingree School Gallery in Hamilton, Mass., in October.

In other wedding news, John Carrington and Lucia Moore were married way back in May. John is working at Raytheon and the couple is living in Acton, Mass. RaymondKelly and Diana Ersing tied the knot in August and live in York, Pa., where Raymond is a doctor at Memorial Hospital. HerbBoynton and the former Cynthia Marie Walsh were married in September. RickMonteith served as an usher at the ceremony. The Boyntons will settle in Stratham, N.H., where Herbie is vice president and an owner of North Country Telephone and Electric Company. Marc Krantz and Michele Silverman were also married in September and will be living their version of LALaw in Washington, D.C. Last but not least, James Kritzmacher and Rae Kroner were married this fall and will be setting up shop in Bernards Township, N.J.

That's it for now. By the way, I'm still single.
