Hurricane Bob has my typewriter still on the fritz but I'll do my best to clear away the branches and get some words down on paper.

It's been very encouraging to hear from so many different people in the recent weeks.

Jill Sparhawk Scott wrote to say that she and her husband, Will (Princeton '77, married in '88), have recently moved across the pond from their home in Silver Spring, Md. Both are mathematicians working for the Federal government IRS? and are assuming a three-year position in England.

Jill said that she saw Beth Scarabino in April while the latter was visiting our nation's capitol. Jill also spent some time in New England visiting Sue Fink '84 and Wendy Richter.

Also writing to spread some news was AnneHiggs Morin. Anne and husband Bob are living in the Big Apple and are the proud parents of twin sons John and David, who were born in January. In Anne's words, "They're beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed boys who keep me hopping." I don't think she's biased at all. Anne joined Merrill Lynch after completing her M.B.A. at Columbia and is now an associate product manager.

Anne reports that Mark and CarolynWilcox Galiette had their second child, Ethan, in July. "He joins his older sister Claire to make a very handsome foursome." A fountain of information, Anne also has news on Chris and Robin Riley Ahrens, who are now in Tokyo, courtesy of Chris' job with Banker's Trust. "They expect to be there for three to five years. Up until the move, Robin had a career working at auction houses . . . most recently with Sotheby's. Robin and Chris are expecting their first child in December." Finally, Anne says that Andrea Papp Thorn and husband Craig 'BO are also members of the multiple-child club. "Alex became a proud older brother to Kelsey, born in August 1990. Drea is taking a break from her legal career in Boston to be with the kids. The whole family is off to Santa Fe for a year while Craig is on sabbatical from Phillips Andover, where he is an English teacher."

Steve Lichtenauer has finally gotten a clue and moved out of the city that never sleeps. "Trying to raise a kid in New York City (Andrew 1 1/2) finally proved to be too much for Karen and me, so after eight years we left the city for Rye, N.Y., where we've been since August 1990. Although weekends in 'the country' are now great, the commuting life is no dream come true." Steve is still working downtown as a vice president in corporate finance for Goldman Sachs.

That's it for now, but please keep those cards and letters coming.
