Qui sont ces deux hommes at pourquoi est-ce-qu'ils rient? They are Mel Croner '58 and Nob Hovde '50 and they have just received their diplomas in the Bema at ceremonies concluding this summer's Language Outreach course in French. During ten days in Hanover, along with about 70 classmates ranging in age from 17 to 65, they persevered through 100 hours of instruction (and entertainment) without ever speaking a word of English - well, almost. It was Mel's second time.
