Next among others: Skopje, Yugoslavia; Kavalla, Greece; Istanbul, Turkey; Plovdiv, Bulgaria; Cluj, Romania; and back home from Budapest, Hungary. Beautiful scenery, historic sites, perfect weather—trip of a lifetime.

Lou and Georgie Conant wrote that they left their Washington, D.C., home of 34 years and are now in a lifetime retirement community in Mitchellville, Md. About 20 classmates, wives, and widows are known to be living in such places with no cares of home ownership, and have utilities and at least one meal hirnished as well as medical care if needed.

Skipper Smith, Suffield, Conn., a past president of' 26 Dartmouth rifle club, wrote saying he celebrated his 88th birthday shooting a round of skeet, scoring a not very hot 15 out of 25 however, a very dark day gave him trouble picking up birds. Bill Willard, Washington, D.C., had a pleasant visit to his and Florence's Walpole, N.H., summer home with their son Bill Jr., a retired lieutenant colonel, U.S. Army. Their house has a historic past and is undergoing renovation.

The North Hill Dartmouth constituency of 29 men, wives, and widows held its fifth annual convocation September 28 at the Needham lifetime retirement community. Bob Danziger '56 Dartmouth College trustee and wife Sara were again guests, and Bob kindly told of current doings at the College. Our class fielded the largest representation—Marj Hopkins, Dick andRuth Nichols, Don ana Lou Norstrand,Carl Schipper and sister Ann Colburn.
