Among this month's news is word that the 1989 Alumni Fund raised $12,317,201, posting an all-time record in its 75th anniversary year— . $42,126 over goal. Our class raised $137,077, surpassing its goal by nearly 10 percent with nearly 55 percent of our class participating, thanks to class head agent Michael Maynard.

Chris Coakley recently relocated his office in the practice of internal medicine and endocrinology to Plymouth, Mass. He and his wife, Molly, live in Duxbury and greeted their first child, Erin Elizabeth, in April of last year.

Andy Urban, a partner in the Boston law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, received the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association 1989 President's Award at the association's annual ball in June. Together with another partner in his firm, Andy is co-founder ana coordinator of the Boston Law Firm Group, a 27-firm association which promotes increased minority representation among Boston-area law firms. Andy also serves as the assistant managing partner of his firm.
